Psalm 4:1,4  Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!

[4] Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Selah.
‭‭What a great prayer David has written in the form of Psalm 4. I want to focus on verse 4…anger! It is okay to have feelings of anger, it is a natural emotion. However, we must learn to lean on Jesus so that we do not sin in our anger! And when David says to “ponder….and be silent,” he does not mean let your anger simmer and then boil over. He means that we should give it all to God! Forgive and have joy!

Psalm 4:7  You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.
